I love my 675 soprano. I have had it for close to 10 years now. Ergonomically it is comfortable. Pitch is very, very good and the tone quality is outstanding. Perhaps I should play an 875, Yanagisawa or seriesIII to compare, but I can't imagine a clearer or more resonant soprano tone quality.

I have owned and played three different sopranos. I've owned two Mark Vls and the 675. The 675 is the best horn for me. The Selmers both played flat for me in the upper register. The 675 is easier to play in tune.

"Great sax for both solos and ensemble work"

I found this sax very easy to pick up and play. I really like the sound, especially with a Selmer metal mouthpiece. I can blend and fill with a vocal ensemble or step out and project for solos with little effort. The movement is really smooth.

This is a pretty nice horn. The old model is better, Yamaha 62, but otherwise this has great intonation. I found this sax very hard to pick up on. I like a Yanagisawa curved soprano because it is more comfortable and has better projection. A curved soprano is actually in many ways better than a straight such as : Curved has better projection, Curved feels better, and overall louder. The negative thing about curved is that most of them do not play in tune. That is the difference between cheap horns and expensive ones. My curved is about 2800 dollars and it stays in tune just as much as a Yamaha 62. I compared them on a tuner. Overall the Yamaha is pretty good and that is what a lot of pros play.

I have an older version of this horn and plays better than any of the soprano's on the market. Just sounds great and plays smoothly
