Yamaha YBB-641 Professional Rotary Tuba
The Yamaha YBB641 Professional BBb Tuba

A timeless classic
When Yamaha started to build tubas they first went out and examined all the instruments that were currently available and re-engineered the best features from each into a spectacular tuba. This horn has the traditional German sound, a tubing wrap reminiscent of the early Meinl Westons, the long mouthpipe and bell of the Miraphones and the resonance of the Cervenys. This horn is a well blended combination that has a voice all its own. You will enjoy playing this instrument.

Count on Yamaha for exceptional quality and performance. Order today.

"Great Tuba" by Mike

I have been playing this tuba for two years. In my four year career, I have played 5 Yamahas, and this is by far the best one. It plays almost all notes in tune perfectly. It is not as heavy as other full size tubas. All around, this is the tuba of choice.

I use this tuba in high school, and I have to say it isnt the best ive used. I often have problems with the valves, and there are few other minor annoyances with it.

"The best tuba." by Jim Shorts

This is probably the best tuba I have ever used. As I have played over the years I can say that by far it has the best sound and blends in with the whole band. For a dark, rich, wonderful sound you must get this tuba.

"I recommend this instrument to all tuba players" by Carl Vining

I've had a ybb641 for 15 years and am thoroughly satisfied with it. I'm getting close to 80 years old and the case got a little heavy for me and I now use a gig bag which works just fine. the only problem I have is where my forearm rests on the horn the perspiration is cutting into the lacquer and the metal. The horn is very easy to play and would highly recommend it.
