I think that Yamaha is a good brand to begin with it's a good quality, affordable, and excellent starter trumpet. I own a Yamaha and I think it is a very reliable instrument with good tone quality if that is you have the right mouthpiece. That is why I rely on this mouthpiece at concerts with it's good fit on your mouth. I think it is a very good mouthpiece and I am a proud owner of a Yamaha trumpet.

I just purchased a 13A4a jazz mouth piece for my birthday, and received it today. I am very impressed with it. Being a smaller stature person (5'2") I cannot generally play high b's and c's consistently, and I can now play them clearly and consistently after only 30 minutes with it. AN excellent mouthpiece for anyone who is in, or thinking about, playing jazz, especially at such a cheap price (my band director said that anywhere else, they run for 75-125 dollars.

I am a student at Beryhill. I have gone to many schools (Sand Springs, Union, and Berryhill) and I haven't gotten a chair lower than 2nd (In all district). This is a terriffic mouthpiece even for the worst trumpets. I play the 7c, now 3c, and the 13a4a for Jazz band. I would recomend this mouthpiece to be 7c for starters 3c for intermidiate and 13a4a for professianal. I have played songs by Maynard Ferguson to perfection to get 1's in competition. My school (Led by me) won 1st place in silver dollar city competition. I have an extinct trumpet by yamaha and it is only worth $200 just to show it is all me and the mouthpiece. This mouthpiece gets cold in marching winter parades but it feels great to be able to play ike a pro.

Yamaha mouthpieces are an excellent value. Good selection of sizes to suit nearly any style of playing and any level of performer. Toss your Bach 7C and get an 11C4 - you'll sound better from the first note! At under $30 cheap enough to own 2 or 3. You can't go wrong!
