This guitar is nice for the price. It stays in tune great, is easy to change to different tunings, has a really nice neck, and over all, it is a pretty good buy!
I bought this guitar to start because I wanted to back into writing songs and playing guitar after a 10 year layoff(I was playing drums). It is a good starter buy. It stays in tune for the most part and the intructional DVD is a help. I will probably use this guitar alot even if I buy an upgrade. Everything the comes with it is quality but you might want to upgrade the guitar case.
Buy it. Yamaha's quality shines through again with this wonderful guitar. Although touted as a beginner's guitar, the sound and feel is definitely past beginner, yet with the ease needed for beginning guitar players. The accompanying tuner and DVD made it all even easier. And then there's the extra strings, strap, and picks to complete the package. Great bargain, great quality...my 11 year old daughter, her mother, and me are enjoying it immensely.
Hey this is a great product and the packages comes with some great stuff, but good luck with the shipping. I got the guitar one day, had to call about the package and then only half of it came and it was about a week later. Hey and I am still waiting for the picks and the DVD!
