Retired, I've started having violin lessons again.Now I'm due to play violin duets with my teacher for the village Christmas bazaar. But she is so much better than me...Not any more! I have just purchased a Yamaha Silent Violin...pearl red.Teacher and I linked in to the amplifier...and now we both sound the same.I can even do the swoopy bits in the jazz duets.Every learner should buy a Yamaha. No one would ever give up;no one would ever stop practicing!
Like most cheap violin, this one's E string has no power when playing high notes. Called Yamaha support, they told me to get high notes sounded good, you will have to run professional sound equipment with a sound engineer.

This violion will be very help full to make the song louder. I would like to buy this violin but its to expenseve. I think I know how to play good enought that I woul be able to earn this violin in a contest. I belive this will be the greates violin that I would ever recive. If didnt have this violin I would work hard to earn it or to be a able to buy it.
I had never played an electric violin before, and for a first experience, I loved everything about this violin. My fingers moved easily up the fingerboard and the resonation was incredible. It has a beautiful sound.
