Purchased this monitor 2 months ago. It gets used once a week. It is awesome. All of the band members love the tone and sound. This can also be used as a main speaker.

My band replaced some 12" Bullfrog monitors with 4 of the Yamaha BR12M's. The price, the sound, the quality, all great. We can turn them up and they give us exactly what we need in our face to keep our vocals tight. We also use 4 S115IV for FOH and have never had a speaker fail. That was the main reaseon that we bought the BR12M's. Yamaha has always made a good product and this is no exception. Take a listen to them, you won't be disappointed.
