I purchased this one because I wanted a second Metronome that was not part of the digital piano. I wanted it up on top of the piano, ticking away its little beat so that my sons would finally notice the Metronome and actually count! It works! It is compact enough to fit on my crowded piano top, but large enough to see and hear it. It stores nicely, which I recommend because if left open people can't help but play with it. I am glad I got.
