I've used many plugs that emulate limiters with varied results. I find the L3 to be the most transparent of all them. Never sacrafices the intended mix unless you push it to unrealistic levels(even then, you can really push this sucker). The multiband capabilities are phenominal if used correctly with the mix, allowing its user to master with EQ subtlies. Its GUI is laid out simply and logical, but under the hood ; it can be quite complex. The presets are usually good starting points(depending on the source material), and are quite easy to tweak. Its gain, priority and release controls have numerated options giving its user an incredible amount of variables to each of its 5 bands. The dithering algorhythms are solid and you also have a master release (ARC/ Scaled/ Warm / aggressive and Manual). Crossovers are apparent and changable. I use it on just about every project and job I do. Whether it be a classical symphony or a groovin' dance tune, this plug shine thru.
