"great jazz or blues sticks"

These sticks do play rock very well but are made for jazz and blues. Vick Firth sticks are specially made for the type of music that the signature on the stick plays. That's why these sticks play such good blues and jazz.

"Great balance, fabulous cymbal sound!"

Buddy's design is innovative, unique and provides the best cymbal sound of ANY wood-tip stick. It is a powerful stick with superb balance. Frankly I find it too heavy for jazz, but use it for rock/country. The only thing I don't like is thickness, as the original stick, commissioned by Ludwig when Buddy signed on around 1970 was a .550mm. A great stick none the less.

I like the Buddy Rich signature sticks because I like the sound they produce and they have good weight balance and I like the overall feel of the stick.

"Killer Sticks"

Got my 1st pair of Buddy's about 8 months ago, and they are perfectly broken-in...LOL. I own several pair, but I keep going back to my originals..they are utterly perfect in weight, balance, and they just fit in my hands so well. I absolutely love these sticks...I could careless about leaving marks on my cymbals etc etc. I have nothing but praise for the design...and thus far they seem to be indestructible. Versatile stick, for versatile players...can't say enough.
