These are great sticks. They have a long taper which makes them quick and improves rebound.
This stick has a real long taper which gives it great rebound and response. It's also crafted from rock maple which is lighter than hickory. Combine that with the long taper and you have a delightfully fast and responsive stick. The large shaft diameter gives sufficient mass to make this stick loud enough for lighter rock styles. For heavier rock, a short taper and larger bead is better.
