Controls include 5-way selector with mini-toggle switch enabling additional pickup combinations of neck + bridge or all 3 pickups together, volume, and PTB (passive treble and bass) system.The sound of the patented Magnetic Field Design pickup is slightly warmer than a standard alnico pickup, and has a broader frequency response. By installing a ceramic bar magnet underneath each coil, these pickups yield about twice the output per wind, making the pickup quieter while allowing a greater overall output.
