"Some issues, but for me it's near perfect."

I've had my traveler pro for over 3 years & it is starting to show some wear. The neck however is still perfect. I work offshore in the Gulf of Mexico & it flies in cramped helicopters and/or rolls around on crew boats every 2 weeks. It travels in my sea bag and is mishandled every trip. The issues I've seen with other reviews do apply here too. I used the stethaphone twice, it hurt and I left it at home after that. Offshore, I play through a Line 6 Guitar Port to a laptop and the tones I get in these harsh conditions and through simple equipment are amazing. After all this time, I still haven't settled on string choice. The lap rest is held together with super glue & tape. A good tuning is hard to achieve and keep. String changing is a major chore. My work clothes on the rig are shredded by the string ends on the backside tuners. All in all, it is one of the coolest things I own. If it were lost, I'd have to order another tomorrow. Many, many people offshore have asked me "just what is that thing & where can I get one". Thanks for a fine product.

I've owned the Traveler for 2 years. It's a great guitar! Great action and sound. I've been very thankful having it when I'm stuck in a motel, or riding in back of the van. I've used it in recordings with great results. If you're in need of a guitar that's easy to tote, this is it. No I don't work for the company. The only con is changing the strings is awkward. When you do change, use a long life string. The stethoscope is ok but I don't use or need it.I did change the pickup to the " Little '59 for Strat" made by Seymour Duncan. That was a personal preference but isn't necessary. If this product got stolen, I'd get another one in a heart beat. I've been a musician for over 30 years.

I have owned the Traveler Pro for three months. I took it to a music store to have the action lowered just a little and this little guitar plays awesomely. With an Amp, this thing sings like a Strat. Switch to the acoustic p/u and the sound is also great. Small, compact and easy to play.

The Martin Backpacker feels like a balsa wood paper plane. This Traveler guitar is SOLID. Trying to teach myself the guitar is tough when I am home only two days a week. With this, I travel and get a chance for a little decompression downtime with my guitar in the evening, no matter what hotel I'm in. Great great product.

"This is a great 'little' guitar with guts"

I'd been on the lookout for a guitar I could throw in my truck and take with me during the day in case I get a half hour to myself. I looked at and played several acoustic and electric models, settling on this. I have been delighted with it and don't regret the decision for a moment. It sounds great. Even though the stethoscope is a little uncomfortable to wear, it works and provides a rich sound, though it's kind of hard to sing along that way. Plugged in (I use the Marshall MS-2 to hang on my belt; it's battery powered and has a nice sound), I can play it anywhere, even walking on the beach or through the parks where I like to stop. I'm more than satisfied. It came out of the box ready to play, just some minor tuning. Interesting thing I hadn't anticipated was the number of people who come up and say, "What in the heck is that?"
