so many string companys manufacture a flatwound bass string but none have been doing as long as thomastik, i have tried every brand and and nothing compares to the rich harmonic detail of these strings, you may pay a bit more but these will last years and continue to sound better and better like a fine wine put these on your bass and its a whole new world of tone
