There is no comparison in sound, it is simply outstanding, it has a crunchy sound that makes it have an energy of its own. The only guitar that I've played that will outshine my friends 50 yr old J-200 gibson. Only problem is the battery changing system, you have to have very small hands and take off almost all the strings or if you have large hands like myself struggle to change the battery. I am not just a person who has played the guitar like some who will write but I have owned this guitar for almost 2 years.
