Taylor 214e Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar
The appealing tone and subtle nuances of the Taylor 214e Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar with a solid Sitka spruce top and an Indian rosewood laminate body are amplified with clarity and warmth, thanks to the Taylor UST Under-Saddle Transducer pickup and ES-T electronics. The result is a high-fidelity, low-impedance signal for clear, acoustic amplified tone. The Taylor 214-E has a mahogany neck, ebony fretboard, and a 25-1/2" scale. A durable varnish finish offers protection, good looks, and a smooth feel.

The Grand Auditorium body combines the width and depth of a dreadnought with a narrower waist. Its sleek design yields a strong treble zing across the tonal spectrum and sharpens the definition of individual notes. The Taylor 214e Grand Auditorium is a strong fingerpicking guitar that also adapts well to medium strumming.

There is no comparison in sound, it is simply outstanding, it has a crunchy sound that makes it have an energy of its own. The only guitar that I've played that will outshine my friends 50 yr old J-200 gibson. Only problem is the battery changing system, you have to have very small hands and take off almost all the strings or if you have large hands like myself struggle to change the battery. I am not just a person who has played the guitar like some who will write but I have owned this guitar for almost 2 years.
