this pedal is truly amazing...highly adjustable and very fast & durable. one of the best that i've played on. very smooth and powerful indeed (but not perfect)
They are the most durable, responsive and functional pedals out there. Some drummers insist that Axis pedals may be faster in rebounding off the head, but they don't go as long without the need for repair. I've been playing 180 BPM+ double bass songs with these pedals for 6 years and not once have I had to replace any parts or fix any part of the pedals. I previously used DW5000 and had to re-tighten the springs and replace a few parts every few months. There is no side to side play on the foot boards, nothing is ever loose or unstable, these are rock-solid and last for years. The power glide's motion is second-to-none, overall I personally prefer the feel over the Flexi-glide because the pedal responds faster in the higher BPM ranges.
