This is an all around great bass!!! I have found no fault with this bass. I play many different instuments (banjo, guitar, mandolin, piano, and bass) and run each through a close inspection and fix anthing that is wrong. To my surprize there was nothing to fix on this bass! I was perfect out of the box. I bought this bass to try to nail the sound of Jaco Pastorius and it managed to nail it! A lot of musicians dislike Squiers insruments and say it doesn't compare to a Fender but this bass in on the Fender level!!
I recently received this bass as a gift for christmas..and i was extremely pleased with the quality of the sound and the overall feel of this bass..i usally play fretted bass but decided to try out a fretless..and groovin up and down the fretboard has never felt smoother..the tone is very warm and ballsy..and the 3 tone sunburst finish is absolutely beautiful..i would defently recomend this bass for people looking for a tight smooth sound to get funky with and just to jam..and if you are looking for a sound as the likes of jaco pastorious as the fellow bassist befor me said then u absolutly need to pick up this sexy peice of bass heaven!! you will not be disappointed!
