I got this guitar for Christmas last year, although I never really got into playing guitar until around March. I've played it in a VOX 15 Watt and a Behringer 2x60 Watt, with Digitech GNX3 pedals (sometimes I had both amps hooked up at once, that made for some window shattering fun). In both amps the guitar sounded great, with or without pedals, really fun to play metal. It looks very cool and is easy to handle. However like all other starter guitars, it has downfalls. You CANNOT use any other strings than 9 gauge (not a problem because all I use are 9's). Also, the tone knobs seem to do absolutely nothing, and when using a heavy wammy the bridge pulls the pins out of the guitar, throwing it out of tune are requiring you to push them back in (I may have gotten a lemon though). The notes also don't sustain very long, especially the higher strings and on high fret positions. However despite these problems I am very happy with this guitar, You can't get any better for the price. I highly recommend it for people just starting out.
