This Squier is an excellent first electric guitar. This Strat is really beautiful (more than on the picture), it sounds ok and it's easy to play. I noticed only 2 bad things concerning this instrument: there is no tone for the humbucker and it becomes a little bit out of tune when we use the vibrato. After all , it has a very good value for the price and it is an excellent buy.

This is my first guitar, having not much experience with the guitar yet- it plays very well but goes out of tune very easily if tremolo is used a lot. Overall a wonderful guitar- fairly alright tone and sounds and great price.

I bought this guitar as my first guitar and it is great! This guitar sounds really good, and IÆve used it in a couple gigs, it worked well. I also like the mirror pick guard. I hope this review helped you, and if you're a beginning guitar player, this is a good guitar!

I got this guitar for Christmas last year, although I never really got into playing guitar until around March. I've played it in a VOX 15 Watt and a Behringer 2x60 Watt, with Digitech GNX3 pedals (sometimes I had both amps hooked up at once, that made for some window shattering fun). In both amps the guitar sounded great, with or without pedals, really fun to play metal. It looks very cool and is easy to handle. However like all other starter guitars, it has downfalls. You CANNOT use any other strings than 9 gauge (not a problem because all I use are 9's). Also, the tone knobs seem to do absolutely nothing, and when using a heavy wammy the bridge pulls the pins out of the guitar, throwing it out of tune are requiring you to push them back in (I may have gotten a lemon though). The notes also don't sustain very long, especially the higher strings and on high fret positions. However despite these problems I am very happy with this guitar, You can't get any better for the price. I highly recommend it for people just starting out.
