It is unbelievable that you can get a Tele of this quality at this price. The finish, fit, and hardware are what you would expect on a far more expensive guitar, except for the selector switch, which everyone complains about on Teles including the Fenders. The butterscotch finish is far cooler than the photo shows, and ditto for the black dots and nut on the neck. The maple neck is super fast, and the frets are very clean. It looks so good you want to clean it up every ten minutes. I bought this guitar because the online reviews I read were actually stronger than for the Fender version of the same guitar. My impression with the Squiers is that they are inconsistent in term of production runs, but if you get a good one, it's a total steal on a great instrument. It's made overseas, but as long as the workmanship is quality and it's made to Fender's Tele specs, who cares? This is a guitar I'll have forever. A truly amazing deal.

I own 10 various guitars and basses some vintage ranging in price from this squier telecaster to my Claptan strat, late 1970's Ibanez Artist a gorgeous guitar etc whatever. This little beauty plays, sounds, and feels like you could just forget about the rest of the world. It greatly exceeded my expectations. It had all of the sounds that I expected from a tele and it even had a poppy jazz sound when I play leads with my fingers instead of using a pick, with the pickup switch either in the middle or upper position, a little like my Les Paul or my Artist. The best feature, I tuned it when I got it and really haven't had to touch it at all. I've played THIS guitar EVERY day. This guitar STAYS IN TUNE! To want to play something, you have to love what you're playing. This is an instrument that you can really love!
