For any musician who needs a super portable, put in your pocket, recording studio, this is your new toy. It is extremely easy to use and will hold about 10 hours of MP3 stereo recording. You can move your recordings from the device to your computer in drag and drop fashion, just like a regular MP3 player. Hook it up to your PA tape out jacks, and you can record live. This one doesn't do WMA, but unless you're using it as a recorder primarily and not a regular MP3 player, it doesn't matter. Out of the box, remember to set the input setting to "mic" or "audio in" and set the recording quality to MP3 (which is not the default). If you are using your tape out jacks from a PA you will get no input if the input setting on the recorder is "mic" instead of "audio in" , and vise versa. The built in stereo mics are OK for recording meetings, but useless for anything musical.

The single function button is a little tricky, but once you get used to it, it works fine. The audio quality is phenomenal! I use it for board meetings and it picks up even the quietest mumblers!!
