I've put this unit in an install. A steel building where the mic could be down the hall in another room some 200Ft away. We never had a dropout, never any disturbing noise. The steel and distance could have been a problem, but no. The sound is also good, and I'm extremely picky about sound quality. This system is good for "Rockers." But you must read the manual and set the transmitter "pad" to process the capsule at -10dB otherwise you will get some FM clipping which wont sound distorted but instead compressed and "Bad." If you have a screamer/singer go to the next level to get -20dB pad and more attenuation before the broadcast. You get what you pay for. This is the cheapest I would buy. For multiple channels (3+) or serious work, I recommend an antenna-splitter capable system with computer access. Otherwise this is a great mic for the live stage - never a problem (put the receiver onstage, not way over at a mixing board). Fresh batteries!

This microphone is perfect for low tone / low volume vocals. However if vocal volume is at a rock level the sound becomes hollow cardboard. I have had to switch back to a corded mic until I can afford a higher level system. If you are a church ministry or lower volume band this is a good mic for you though.
