My band bought this microphone about six months ago and it's been great. For a while we used a cheap mic and got extra background noise in our recordings, but with this mike it makes a crystal clear sound. One great thing is that it mostly only gets noises in a three to four foot radius, which means that your music won't effect your singing. We also use this to record music and it sounds awesome on that too.

Considering this is the first and only mic I have or have used, my review may be somewhat biased. This is a very good mic. It can stand a lot of abuse. Mine has been dropped so many times, and of course swung around by the cord all the time. It has never let me down. Go for it, for the cost it's good.

I've used the pg58 for about 3 years and it holds its own against other top end mics. Never a feedback problem when correctly situated. Vocals are clear and crisp with a very natural tone. I would recommend this mic to anyone.

For the money, it is the only way to go!

I've been using this mic for everything.. small practices, small shows, big shows.. and it never fails me.
