Been using these for about 7 years now, on stage and in the studio for vocals. Unrivaled crispness, and the super-cardioid pattern isolates almost everything except the singer in front of it, so much higher volume to feedback ratios can be realized. They are especially well suited for high ambient noise environments, such as a gymnasium.

I have been using this microphone for like 4 months, and it's awesome. Perfect. It's warm, clear, playing with distance is a total pleasure. It even looks good! Many bands use it for stage mic, but using it for home recording is great.

This microphone is the best I've sang on. Great clear response to all vocal range. It has a tight sound, so your "P's" and other percussive sounds won't overwhelm the others. I also have beatboxed on this mic and it sounds great for that. I definitely recommend it.

I got this mic about 7 months ago, and since then have never stopped loving it. It delivers a brilliant sound that the Betas are known for. I've had no complaints, and have not gotten one dent or scratch, and I definitely have dropped it a few times.

I bought this mike a few months ago and it is the best available in its range. It is a professional mike often use on television and live performances for big bands. If you are getting a mike that isn't cordless, get this one. It's cheap too.

Compared to several microphones I tried-the Beta 58A is by far the best value...We have no issues with feedback and the sound is warm and detailed highs and impressive lows. This microphone is better than my SM 58 or the AudioTechnica.

I'm a Karaoke DJ and I've used this mic constantly for about 8 years, every Friday and Saturday Night. I also use the Audix OMD2's they are very good mic's and also very tough! But the Beta58a is most dependable, feedback resistant mic I've ever used. I also have used AKG d 9000 mic's, they have a 20khz limit but have a great deal of feedback.

"VERY VERY NICE"
by Robert Cates - 3/18/2009 4:28:32 PM

I've been using the infanous sm 58 and 57 for years, time for a new mic-tried this and am nothing short of amazed at the difference in clarity and power. I make frequent use of a ditech vocalist live 4 for harmonies, and this mic REALLY makes a difference in the clarity of the vocals through this unit. Worth every penny and more.
