this is a very nice mouthpiece

If you plan to do classical music the model C* is the best bari sax mouthpiece you can get for the job. It's easy to play on and gets a wonderful tone.

Every instructor and conductor I've worked with has recommended the Selmer C*, as the one mouthpiece to get, especially if you get only one. There is good reason for this, it can get you through any type of music! Perhaps it may have trouble with a rock band, but it's been perfect for any big band, quartet, community band or ensemble I've played in. I am looking for a second more powerful mouthpiece to really bari the sax section with, but this is really a great mouthpiece. It's always good to try several mouthpieces as everyones mouth is different, however, this is the one mouthpiece I have for all of my horns.

This mouthpiece is great. I play alot of classical bari, strange as it seems, and shows. this is perfect for that type of playing. Mine is kinda old though, but it still plays well. I recommend it highly.

I've been playing on Selmer C* for about 1 month now. And no matter what group I'm playing for (jazz band, symphonic, wind ensemble, saxophone quintet, etc) the Selmer C* always delivers much more opened and brighter sound, and helps fill a room with beautiful sound and tone from my sax. Recommended highly.
