This is a great tool for musicians including both vocalists and instrumentalists. We stock it in our university bookstore. It's easy enough to use and small and light enough to toss into an instrument case or backpack. The batteries last quite a long time. I think the person who swiped mine liked it too! I plan to buy another one.

"ONE of these should come with every new guitar!!!"

This is the electronic answer to your struggling- to-stay-in-tune prayers! I'm new to the guitar and tuning was a nightmare until I got one of these. Now I'm in tune all the time, in no time at all, and in the process I'm learning the pitch and notes properly. Get one - you will not be disappointed.

This is an invaluable accessory to any musician. One of the most helpful tools. Only problem is that it cannot produce more than one beat at a time, like a Dr. Beat can. Still, this is much cheaper and a great buy.

This was an excellent buy. It does everything I want. The metronome is easy. The tuner works well and the tones are a nice bonus. The only complaint is that it is a bit slow on tuning notes and that it is hard to read the LCD when the beats are being hit. Other then that it is great. I would highly recommend this.

"Not for wind players"

This unit tracks pitch too slowly for wind players who want prompt feedback on their intonation. If that's what you're after, get a Korg CA30 instead. However the slow pitch tracking is ok for guitars, etc. The metronome is ok, but I rarely use it. Also, the unit tends to eat batteries, even when not used heavily- batteries die after about 3 months whether you use it or not.
