I've had this splash for several months. I'm a fairly competent jazz/rock drummer and I have more or less a full set of B8s minus the china. I have experimented with various mountings and I have settled upon an inverted splash mounted on top of the bell of my ride. It works wonderfully, for the price. I paid รบ30 UK so about $50 US and other cymbals in this price range do not compare. Simply a superb beginner/Semi professional cymbal at a price which most can afford. Great accenting and no sustain, great as a rhythmic climax or for that matter almost any context.
