I have had the 8 inch splash for about a year now. Bought it from this website and I must say, It's AWESOME! It has a nice clean sound to it. I think it has the perfect amount of pitch and decay to it. High pitched, fast decay. After a year of playing on it and a few drops, it still shines just as bright as the first day. I can't think of any negative sides to this cymbal. I hope this has been helpful and I hope you enjoy your cymbal
