l've played these cymbals for years now. l feel that both the 16 and 18 inch B8 Pro Rock Crashes are the best you can buy for the money. l know l like them better than all my Zildjian cymbals in the past...to bad Sabian is getting rid of this line of cymbal...
It has a nice heavy tone. I think the best thing about this cymbal is the bell. It has the bell of a nice ride cymbal but on a crash. If you like nice bell tones this is for you.
If you're another drummer finally done saving up for some high-end cymbals, and you've heard how awesome these things are. There is a difference. I will admit, they sound perdy good, but you will be disapointed in your choice in the future when you look back at how great the cast cymbals of Sabian or Zildjian sound. Don't buy these if you're looking for a great-sounding cymbal to show off!! These things aren't that good!!! Just stick with the first choice, CAST. BUT, if you're a beginner, get 'em. You won't be disapointed, only when the time comes and you realize how stupid you were. Then you'll laugh.
