This case is compact, light weight and offers good protection. After three years, the bottom started to show cracking. I lived with that, but then one of the legs broke off. I called SKB and they will replace it free of charge under their lifetime warrantee. Fair enough. Case would rate 4 stars and durability about 2 stars hence the 3 star rating.
