"decent" by caleb

I have one one of these, and although it plays well and gives you several tonal options, it's really much better suited to legit playing than jazz. It muffles the tone some even on the brightest setting, but it still plays well. I'd say if you want a good jazz ligature, go with the Olegature or francois louis. If you want the perfect accompaniment to your C*, get the eddie daniels.

"Amazing!!!" by Bob

Musical Experience: High School Band
Style of Music: Classical
Hometown: San Fransisco
Last year I was having problems with my plastic clarinet, and at the time I couldn't get a new wooden clarinet. So I purchased this ligature, along with a Clark W. Forbes Debut mouthpiece. The improvement in tone was amazing! I am first chair clarinet in my school band and I sit next to this kid with a Buffet E11, my cheapy plastic clarinet now sounds better than his!!! Would definitely recommend!

"Eddie Daniels Ligatures" by Michael

Musical Experience: Tenor sax player
Style of Music: Swing, jazz, Be-bop
Hometown: Texas
I purchased one of the Eddie Daniels ligatures from wwbw. I put in on my metal tenor sax mouthpieces and I was amazed! The different settings make this a great buy, and it holds reeds like a vice grip! I never really understood the importance of a ligature until I bought my first Rovner ligature about a year ago. This one opens up the sound and makes it clean and clear. Rovner only makes high quality products. It is certainly worth the money!

"The best ligature!" by Ben

Style of Music: I don't make music, I play music!

I have to say I am a very picky person and not everything satisfies me. I have tried many ligatures but this is by far the best one I have ever used. It satisfies my every need whether it is to have a bright or dark sound with six different tones. I recommend this ligature for anyone who wants to have a dramatic improvement in their tone!

"Best I've tried" by U

Musical Experience: Serious amateur
Style of Music: Orchestra, chamber
Hometown: Berkeley, CA USA
I've always been a fabric ligature user; recently I needed a bigger sound for orchestra so I tried the BG tradition, Vandoren Optimum, Bonade and others. Well, sure enough the metal ones are too thin and harsh for my taste. The BG Revelation was a bit dull. The Eddie Daniels was the best of both: very nice response with a big sound. The interchangeable plates do make a difference, so there's a good chance one of them will be to your liking.
