"Not Up To Par!" by Austin

Though the MPC played nicely through all registers, I thought the sound was a bit bright for a classical MPC. But due to this the altissimo notes simply sing. I found if you use this MPC, and learn the position of your oral cavity you can simply just switch back to your other in my case I switched back to a Selmer C and found the upper register to sound full.

"Best of the Best!!" by SSG K

I've been playing on a regular C* and with a #3
Regular Vandoren reed and getting tired very quickly.
I tried the Larry Teal C*, the Peter Ponzol and
the Rousseau NC5. The C* didn't work for me.
The Ponzol was close, but the NC5 had the best
warm tone with the least effort!!
I love it!
I also tried a new reed.
Glotin 2.5 I works even better than Vandoren!

I play on the Classic Series(the NC4) I am using a Glotin #3 reed. After getting used to the mouthpiece, the response is great in all registers

"Really good but a little bright" by SaxGuy

I have been playing on the NC4R with Vandoren #3 reeds and a Bonade ligature for about 5 or 6 years. The mouthpiece has a very clear sound. The altissimo register speaks easily from pp to ff. The bottom register in not boomy (which is saying alot because I play on a Selmer Mark VII, which naturally has a boomy lower register). Intonation is very good. When you play on this mpc you don't notice it. You can concentrate on the music. This is what superior equipment is supposed to do. The only downside I have encountered with this mpc is that the tone is a little on the bright side for my taste. Finding the "Holy Grail" of mouthpieces is a never ending quest for saxophonists. However, starting with the NC4 puts you on the right track.

"I love this m.p.!" by Capt Scooby

When I was purchasing this mouthpiece, I wasn't too sure about what was going to happen to me. I was playing so so and then I switched to this, and my goodness, my band director had so much more to say to the section than he ever did. I was playing smoothly and was ready to go everyday, all the time.
