Seems nice but do note that I don't play bass. Someone who does play bass noted that the body was kind of small for a bass but then added that they liked that because it wasn't as heavy. Seems to sound good. I make guitars and bought it for a reference as I didn't have a bass and the price was right.

I have about 20 Bass guitars and this has been my "practice" bass for a couple of years. Stays in tune, never has let me down. Long, slim neck is also a plus, the body is small which is great for sitting on a stool at practice. My main bass is a Gibson SG or my AXL Badwater Bass. Great for the price.

This bass is a perfect begginer's bass. It is easy to play and sounds great. If you are a pro, like me, I suggest a more high-end bass. This was my first bass, and I still use it to warm up on before a gig. Of my 3 bass guitars, this is my personal favorite. My others are a Dean edge 09 Mahogany finish bass, and a silvertone LB11 bass.
