This bass arrived via ground shipping right on time. It was in pristene condition and after the initial tuning, sounds great. The wood finish is kinda flat looking, but the neck is awesome and fast. The bridge was already set, no adjustments needed. Wish I had ordered a case for it. Absolute great price for this bass. Highly recomend for anyone who wants to move up a notch.

I'm fifteen and I've been playing for three years now and decided to get something nobody else in my town has so I got the lx406. When I got it out of the box I was able to just tune it up and start playing. I had problems with the A tuning key snapping and the string losing tune, but that mysteriously disappeared. I changed the strings about three weeks after getting it because the ones on it frayed at the top really bad. There is serious buzz around the first fret on the lower three strings but thats not hard to handle. I'd recommend this to anybody wanting a 6-string at a good price.

I bought this bass a couple years back to add to my collection, was not expecting it to be the best. But wow with a battery that they added to it to makes it so powerful, sounds cleaner and kicks BUTT on slapping. Then they give you a cut of switch to bring the tone down for clean sound plus if your battery dies with that switch you can still jam on stage with out looking like a idiot. The bass is great and rouge gets 5 stars from me! This is a great bass no matter what price they want it to be. If you have the CASH GET IT, YOU WILL BE AS HAPPY AS I AM WITH !!!!!
