A while back when Rogue first came out with guitars, I bought a 5 string bass. The fit & Finish was OK the sound wasn't.. I had to customize it with new pickups to make it usable. It didn't last long. It was my introduction to the 5 string bass... Since then I've had all kinds of "name brand" basses, some I still have, some have been passed on. I thought I'd give Rogue another chance. The write-ups seemed favorable. And this one was listed as a "top of the line" bass. I was ready to make the usual adjustments on the kneck and string to stop the buzzing, and I did when it came. The features were great (same as Carvin basses) with the Active/passive switch. The fit and finish was first rate. The overall sound was very impressive, and easy to play. NO need to change the pick-up's on this one. I still have some minor adjustments to make, but I feel this bass will be around for quite a while. It is a good quality instrument that I'm sure a lot of people will be surprized when they find out it is a Rogue!
