The strings can be strung through the body or bridge. Deluxe electronics include an MM-style humbucker in the bridge position; exposed pole-piece single-coil pickup in the mid position; active EQ; volume, blend, bass boost/cut, and treble boost/cut controls. Active circuit can be bypassed.

When it came i had to do alot of adjusting for fret buzz. it was playing fine for about a week then after that the D string broke.but i have some ernie ball custom gauge on it and it sounds great. the active pickups really make the guitar stand out while your playing. and being able to switch from active to passive when the battery dies is a feature you would think should come standard on all guitars. i would highly recomend this bass for anyone from a starter to someone whos ben playing for years and wants to try out some active pickups but don't have the money for some of the more expensive ones.
