I've always felt that Rogue is a very inexpensive, yet quality brand. I have a bass by rogue, and it was better than most Gibsons I've heard. I bought this guitar as a travel guitar, something versatile. I didn't expect it to be anything wonderful. This guitar has a sweeter tone to it than any guitar that I've heard in my life. I was shocked to realize I spent so little, and got so much. The moment you have it tuned and begin to strum it, you can't bring yourself to put it down. If you are wondering whether to buy this because of quality, or are sceptical because of the price, have no fear. This guitar wouldn't dissapoint even the harshest critic.

I just wanted something kinda cheap, but something that also sounded great. I got just that. This acoustic/electric is so awesome, i just can't seem to put it down. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I read the reviews before I purchased, and I was somewhat skeptical about the rave reviews. But at this price I thought I would just give it a try (with the satisfaction guarantee, I could always ship it back). But when I got it, I was very surprised by the sound quality of this guitar. I can understand why words like "astonishing" and "awesome" were used to describe it. The low tones are rich, the high ones are crisp and the actions are clean. The only downside is that it doesn't produce nearly the acoustical volume you would expect from a much more expensive guitar (I'd guess most people would use the pickup anyway). Otherwise, I am extremely pleased with this guitar. While the sound is superb, I did notice some very minor quality issues. I ordered the natural color, but I got the sunburst instead. When I called Music123 for a RMA, they told me the box must have been mislabeled. In addition, I noticed that the E# on the high E string produced a slight buzz (may be the 1st fret wasn't made high enough or the neck was slightly bowed). I got the replacement unit in natural color several days later. This piece (the one I have now) has absolutely no technical issues, though on the top and bottom ends of the frets you could feel that the metal wasn't finished very smoothly. Overall though, I am very very happy with this guitar, and especially for such an amazing price.

"Best Value for an Electric/Acoustic Guitar on the Web"

This guitar was a gift for my niece. She absolutely loves it. I don't blame her-- I love it too. The price is almost ridiculous for a guitar of this quality. Stays in tune nicely... Save your time searching the web and investigating. I did it for you. I looked for hours and you just can't get an acoustic electric for this price.

I'm an adult just starting starting to teach myself guitar (took piano lessons when I was younger so I've got something in my back pocket), and I wanted to get a beginner's guitar that sounds good and worked w/my budget. This guitar is perfect for me. I got the sunburst pattern, and its beautiful. I had a couple of friends check it out- one's a former professional musician (still plays as a hobby and at Church), the other is a bar-band member. They both loved it, and said it played better than what I paid for it. I've been practicing for about an hour every night and loving it. Buy this guitar. You won't be disappointed.
