This 27 lb. cabinet is a great buy. The back features a few jacks already wired for different series/parallel impedance possibilities, so expansion is simple. There is plenty of bass and midrange punch. The highs are clear. The bottom does tend to sound boom-ey in small rooms, the low end seeming to overpower the highs and upper mids. The construction seems solid and the fit and finish are excellent. Driven with an all-tube head, this cabinet has a pleasing, though bass-ey character. Again, for the cost, you can't go wrong.

I liked the first one so much I bought a second one that was a scratch-n-dent for a discount. Worth every penny. THe cool thing is that these cabs have connectors on the back so you can chain them up in series ( 2 cabs make a 16 ohm load) or in parallel ( 2 cabs make a 4 ohm load). I connected 2 up in parallel and plugged in a little 15 watt tube practice amp and it sounds HUGE! It's loud enough to gig with on a small club. I can also connect up the 2 cabs in series and get extra coverage for my 50 watt amp head that takes a 16 ohm load. Plenty of power and easy to carry with the top handle and under 30 lbs. At this low price I suggest getting 2 of them!
