Yes, the control is actually called "Awaken". SHRIEK controls the treble while ROAR provides low end control. FIRE handles the initial distortion drive level of the 12AX7. The second made, called SLAYER, features a mixed-in combination of the 12AX7 distortion with the solid state distortion driving the tube together.
Slayer INTENSITY changes the character, sustain and attack properties, which together enhance articulation. BREATH control is for the symmetry of the solid state distortion which affects the "feel" of the distortion. Output level control is also provided.

Been trying to get this sound for nearly 30 yrs and can finally get it all from one pedal. The tube side was great to begin with. Tremendous body and range. When you combine that with the solid state for leads, forget about it... you're there!
If you don't have a tube amp (like me), you need this pedal. You'll get the tube sound you desire, whether you play metal or classic rock. Plus, the solid state distortion is excellent. This will probably replace all my tube amps I've been using to get tube tone for recording, and jamming in general. It blows the Bravo 112, BV120H, and Galaxie 10 all out of the water. It is probably best suited for pumping tone into a SS amp set up clean. All the distortion/breakup tone is best from the pedal. It's made in China and comes with a China 12AX7. Probably have to remove the board and top plate to change the tube. Definitely worth the $99 I paid on the bay.
