It's compact - it only takes up slightly more floorspace than a couple of normal single guitar stands. The spacers in the bottom are easily adjustable and are good at preventing most guitars from moving and works well with acoustics, which will take up 2 slots each - I've got 2 basses, an electric, and a couple acoustics in mine. The compactness does mean you have to be a bit careful not to bump the guitars into each other if you've got a lot of them packed into it.
It may not be the best choice for guitars that have a highly unbalanced weighting or weird shape. One of my basses is noticably heavier on the horn side and can tilt if it's put in too close to vertically with the horn out, but it's not likely to be significant problem for the overwhelming majority of gear; I still use it with that bass since it's plenty stable as long I put it in a reasonable angle and it's not an issue with my j bass.
It's fairly light-weight and probably could be a little more sturdy, but as long as you don't abuse it, it seems like it will hold up well.
Overall, it's a good portable, low-footprint solution for holding a lot of guitars at a reasonable price.
