I have the earlier V59. Unlike several other Rics I've had, this guitar was perfectly playable right out of the box. No set-up required. I know, hard to believe. The shorter neck and the shorter strings, I believe, make this guitar less problematic to tune and to keep in tune. The action is as low as it needs to be for what you can use it for--a really interesting rhythm guitar. The small neck takes a bit of getting used to if you have fingers of any size. But not a major problem. I recommend any of these 325s. The V59 is already a minor collector's item, because of its vintage and because Rickenbacker has discontinued them.
