These pads really do work. They stick effectively without adhesive residue and can be easily repositioned. They can be used to dampen drum heads or cymbals. You can use more or less pads to produce the desired overtone control. These pads are effective and versatile! Made of non-toxic silicone gel.

These little blue squares of semi-sticky gel are the world's greatest drum accessory! A must-have for any drummer! Just move them around to change the tone, and they remove a lot of the ring in your unmuffled drums! A dramatic change can be made in snare drums and can almost completely change your toms. Even works on cymbals! If they lose their sticky, just wash them and in seconds they are brand new! I love these things!

If you've never tried this....TRY IT. It's better than anything on the market to control overtones. You can place it anywhere you need to control the tone. They last forever! Just wash them with soap & water and they get real sticky again.

I use a vintage Yamaha stage series kit and was having problems getting a consistent, heavy tone. After several head changes I was introduced to the Moongels. I added these babies and got instant results. You can even add them to the bottom head for further control and, they're simple to use. Simply slap them on a head, give the drum a whack and reposition the gel until you get the right sound. You can cut them for less dampening or double up for more. I would recommend these to anyone.

This is exactly what I needed. I had a terrible after sound that I didn't need and this put an end to that! :-D
