These microphones have excellent transparency and a smooth sonic signature. The mics are not bright but are fast and excellent with cymbals and instruments. Highly recommended

Yes, I know this is probably one of the most over-used clichTs used when describing a microphone, but if any mic fits the bill, the NT5 pair certainly does.Some say that the NT5's are a little dark. I disagree, they simply don't have the unnatural high-end hype that many mics do.I have used the NT5 pair I bought from Music123 for several live gigs.
