I've owned this set for about 5 months now and it's awesome, especially for the price. This set is best used for heavier styles of music (i.e. Death Metal, Grind, Hardcore, etc.), but is also sufficient in other styles as well. The only downfalls are that the hardware is kind of cheap. If you bought this mostly for the two bass drums, then you're going to want to replace the kick pedals that come with it. And just like any new drum set, you will want to replace the heads as well. Once tuned up though, everything sounds amazing, especially the bass drums. All in all, this is a great kit for the price, it will just require a few extra expences in order to bring out the true beast in this set.
if you are looking for a styleish, playable, and in a good price range drum set then you should get this pulse 8 peice, some say that it is hard to tune the 2 bass drums but i didnt find any trouble with the tuning and preformance of this drum set. i think that if you a drummer looking for a different style of fills and beats then this set is good because it is easy to tune each seperate drum, it only took me 3 hours and i had just got the set this week, but it feels like i had it my whole life. i give it a solid 5 stars. :)
