I bought this case a little over a year ago. The main case section fits the form of Bachs and Schilkes, Bb and C (not sure about other keys, Eb, G, etc.) The mute area is large enough for Straight, Cup, Harmon, and Plunger mutes. The front zipper area also holds a LOT of stuff, tuners, metronomes, music, pencils, you name it. It is also very durable, on the outside. There are some drawbacks, however. First, the mouthpiece holders are hard plastic, and Megatone mouthpieces will NOT fit into them. However, I made the best of a bad situation, and after removing the screws, I now have a double case for my Bach Bb and my Schilke C.

First, the mouthpiece holders are hard plastic, and Megatone mouthpieces will NOT fit into them. I had an experience last winter with that. The cold made my mouthpiece shrink, so it slid down inot the plastic sleeve. It was stuck until I heated it up with a blowdryer, at which time the glue seperated. Not too long after that, the piece of wood that hold the mouthpieces just came off of the supporting screws. However, I made the best of a bad situation, and after removing the screws, I now have a double case for my Bach Bb and my Schilke C.

I received this case as a gift last Christmas and it as served me well. I'm in marching band so the instruments tend to get man-handled pretty badly in the process of loading and unloading, but this case is almost invincible. It's especially useful for those of us who carry several mutes. I carry a bucket, harmon, straight, cup, and plunger mute with room to spare. The two faults I find are that the mouthpiece holder has left a a slight black ring on my mouthpiece where the mouthpiece hits the top of the holder and the fact that the front zip packet is about 1/2 inch too small to be able to carry original copies of music without damaging or beating them.
