The case is fairly light weight and is lighter/easier to carry than the stock Yamaha screw bell case. Lots of storage for music folder, tuner, oil, etc. The horn is very well protected by the hard sides and generous foam padding. Converts easily from backpack to shoulder strap or use one of the two carrying handles. I looked at other cases but found them to be flimsy. Very generous in padding but short on rigidity and protection. Negative - no room to store 1 or two mutes.

This case is just wonderful. After trying unsuccessfully to find a case that would meet my needs as a player (holds music, mouthpieces, etc) I found that this case is really exceptional. Despite the fact that it does not have space for a mute in the case itself, the case is still superior to most. The design provides a huge amount of padding to keep the horn as well as the bell very snug and safe. Overall, a really great case!

This is an excellent case! The hard sides prevent nearly anything from denting the horn, and the body and bell of the horn are held very securely in the case by hard foam padding. I have no worries about my horn! You can carry the case in a multitude of ways, but the most convenient is with the backpack straps. There is ample space to carry music in. The front pocket of the case is large enough to carry a handful of pencils, oil, slide grease, and a spare mouthpiece. There is a very nice sorter for cards and pencils in the front pocket as well. A very, very nice case!

I bought this case just about a year ago now and I like it a lot. I was looking for something that would protect my horn, particularly the bell, securely, as well as hold a music folder and my horn stand. There is plenty of padding on this case and I don't worry at all about my bell getting damaged. This bag is tough and made very well. The pockets are roomy. The main zipper was a little tight around the corners right away, but it's okay now. It is also a little bigger than I anticipated, but that wasn't a big problem for me. No mutes would fit, but I bought a Pro-Tec Trumpet Mute Bag, which holds 3 of my mutes, straight, practice and stopped, plus other accessories and it just clips to the bag. Very nice! You can pay a lot more if you want to, but for me you can't get anything better at that price.

I just bought this case to house my new Yamaha 667D and it is great. I can keep everything I need in it, my tuner and metronome, my 5+ music folders, screwdrivers, and all my other stuff. I love the backpack straps for when I have to carry it long distances, not that it weighs all that much. Great buy!
