These stands are lightweight and fit in to small spaces easily. Packing up they fit in the back seat of a car. In small venues the legs don't stick out so far if you don't want them to and the height is just right. I use them with Mackie SRM350 powered speakers in a jazz trio setting. Less and lighter gear is better.
