This gig-bag is big enough for most tubas and has ample storage space for music, mouthpieces, and accesories. A good choice!!

Purchased this case for 13 year old son after purchasing an Allora tuba for him. The case is made well, with lots of strap padding and reinforcement. Outside pouches are great for music folders. Came with small pouch for mouthpiece as well. He certainly doesn't mind hauling the horn around with the 'backpack' case and they're also a great conversation piece at Solo & Ensemble! The horn is well protected inside the case. This was a huge worry of mine prior to purchasing it. Definitely give this bag a try. It's a great deal for the price AND mobility.

I've been using the same Protec bag for my Miraphone 187 now for two years without a single complaint. The zippers have held up well, the stitching is holding nice and secure, and there is no sign of interior or exterior wear yet. I've heard other people who own this bag complain about it hanging too low and being struck in the back of the thighs by the bottom of the bag when using the shoulder straps. I haven't had this problem, but then again I stand 6'8" tall. My only complaint is that I'd like to see at least one more pouch on the bag that's the same size as the current small exterior pouch.

this bag has excellent padding plus many carrying options with straps galore. The price is also much lower than the price of the equivalent reunion blues gig bag
