No, this clearly isn't a Henri Paris Super Action edition, but compared to several other intermediate level horns, the Prelude has an amazingly bright, clear tone from the high to mid to lower registers. Fingering is crisp and effortless, and with the insertion of a Henri Paris S90 mouthpiece,the intonation takes on even a richer, more mellow quality. Looking for a bargain? I don't think- after comparing several Tenor horns under $1500- that you can find a better sounding instrument.
