I own five 5' lengths of Planet Waves Gold-Plated 1/4" Straight Instrument Cables (Item #PW-G-05), and will now use no other brand of cable. These cables are durable, and provide a great connection to your equipment. The gold-plated connections also guard against the corrosion that other metals are prone to, and the double-insulated/double-shielded cables stop hum and triboelectric noise dead in its tracks! Ive been using many cables so far. (monster, Live Wire, First Act =p ) Nothing has compared to Planet Waves Cables. Monster is a waste of money, This cable is more reliable and Better Quality and will not buzz or give feedback. Besides Theres a Life-Time warranty, you have nothing to lose!

You can't beat this cable for the money. Yes, you can get a marginally superior instrument cable, but for a LOT more money. I've used George L's, Monster, etc. and a year ago settled on this cable for my entire signal chain. Doesn't kink up and built to last. The tone is sublime. Check out the specs (double-shielded, capacitance rating, etc.) and give it a listen - you won't be disappointed.
