The cable I purchased is only 10feet the right angle plug reduces the profile when I play standing next to somebody. I use my guitar pre-amp an plug directlry into the churches PA system. Our little church was never intended to hold a large group of singers and players. The circuit breaker means I can unplug and walk away with my guitar clearing a path for movement in the santuary. The 10foot length means I do not have excess cable coiled on the floor for the rest of the group to trip on. I just have to remember to turn it back on. So for me it was not more expensive, it was worth more.
