I bought this product to use for a music club in college. Upon arrival, it looked promising. We set it up at home and tried it out, and everything worked just fine. Come time for rehearsals, the mixer would just cut the signal off at various intervals. This was completely unreliable and unacceptable. We replaced this mixer with a Nady MPM 4130X. The Nady mixer, unlike the Phonic mixer, works.
The reason I gave this product 2 stars as opposed to its much-deserved 1 star is that that speakers work fine and are great for their price range. The powered mixer is a dud- a waste of time any money. It does not work.

This Phonic Powerpod package is such an incredible value - I want to tell you how satisfied I am with this whole deal.
The channel controls, as well as the master control knobs all have a solid feel to them. The high and low adjustments are very well engineered: my acoustic guitars and vocals all sound crystal clean. The delay is quite effective and tweekable; and it sounds very nice.
The overall construction of the PA head is very sturdy and attractiave. My only suggestion is that it would have been great if the front panel was backlit because it can be difficult to read the control names without direct lighting.
The speakers, 10s with a piezo horn, sound great and deliver a very solid, satisfying bass. In fact, if the speakers were a 16 ohm load instead of the 8 ohm load, I would buy another pair to plug into the parallel jack in the back of each speaker. The system seems to have that much headroom!
The microphone that came with the PA is very, very usable. Yes, it's a decent sounding mic; and the speaker cables and low z mic cable are decent quality as well. The tape in and out is a nice touch.
I will be using this little system in coffee shops for the most part: sometimes as a monitor system to my other little PA, and sometimes as the only PA. I am confident it will do the job just fine.
Even though the front panel controls could be backlit, and the speakers could be offered in 16 ohm loads as well as the 8s, I am still giving this system the highest rating because it is truly deserving of the high score. In addition to all of the above, it seems to me as though this system is MADE IN THE USA! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?
This is my first purchase of a product made my Phonic - I will not hesitate to purchase the Phonic brand in the future. If you're looking for a great sounding little PA and want feel as though you got your money's worth, then look no longer - get the Phonic Powerpod 410 / S710 PA Package. You too will have something to crow about.
